Just north you will find on the sunrise side of Michigan Oscoda, AuSable and the Greenbush area situated on the shores of Lake Huron and well known for cross country skiing or hiking thousands of acres of well groomed trails, canoeing, fishing or kayaking the AuSable River. Starting in Oscoda The River Road National Forest Scenic Byway is a beautiful drive of over 20 miles paralleling the AuSable River and its breathtaking views.
